About the Association:
It is a Palestinian organization specialized in psychological and social support, established in 2010 to assist individuals, particularly women, children, and youth, in coping with the effects of violence, poverty, unemployment, and accumulated pressures. The association aims to empower the community psychologically and socially, enhance resilience and internal balance, and build citizens capable of facing present and future challenges with hope and positivity.
What does empowerment mean to us?
Our approach to empowerment views it as a dynamic, participatory process built with and for people, enhancing individual and collective agency. We strengthen the psychological, social, and cultural capacities of the communities we serve, helping them build resilience against economic, social, and political challenges.
Through collaborative work, participatory planning, and critical thinking, we aim to nurture ambitious, proactive individuals. Our integrated programs foster psychosocial resilience, create spaces for dialogue and creativity, support economic empowerment through skills and entrepreneurship, and promote civic and rights-based participation.
In this way, we cultivate an inclusive environment that equips people to overcome challenges and become agents of positive change in their communities.
