  • The Young Citizen Project

A new project for the Young Women's Christian Association and funded by the National Student Council in Norway. It aims to empower young people in Palestine to be active and influential citizens in their societies. The project targets school students between the ages of 13-19 in the West Bank. It also targets young men and women within the age group between 20-25 as supporting groups. The project will offer them opportunities to develop their skills and competencies to be effective leaders. The association is currently working on providing workshops, activities and events through the project volunteers in Silwad and Remon schools (3 schools).

  • Empowering Youths on Psychosocial Aspects through Voluntary Work

The project started by forming youth groups in the villages of East Ramallah (Silwad, Ramon, Kafr Malik, Al Taybeh, and Al Mazra’a Elshrqieh). The project focused on building their capabilities and motivating them to become active groups who serve the communities in the region. This will help them achieve psychosocial balance and will benefit their families and communities.
