As part of Nafs for Empowerment’s efforts to strengthen community resilience, and within the framework of the “Enhancing Community Resilience and Protection – SUMUD” project, psychosocial support sessions have been launched in Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, and Tubas as part of field interventions across the northern West Bank.

These sessions target caregivers, providing a space that goes beyond traditional support one that helps restore a sense of control and self-awareness, enabling participants to reflect on their experiences and engage with daily challenges in a more grounded and resilient way.

The workshops focused on building trust, exchanging experiences, developing stress and emotional regulation skills, and promoting positive parenting practices that directly contribute to children’s well-being.

The sessions fostered an atmosphere of mutual support and belonging, reaffirming that resilience is not only about facing challenges, but about drawing strength from human connection and shared meaning empowering individuals to continue and grow despite ongoing hardships.
