Nafs for Empowerment concluded a psychosocial support training on trauma response in Dura – Hebron, in partnership with the Afaq Center for Rehabilitation and Training, with the participation of 20 facilitators from NGOs, community organizations, and the Psychologists and Social Workers Association.
Over three days, participants engaged in an interactive training experience that included the use of structured tools such as image-based expression, drawing, clay work, lifeline exercises, and diorama, aimed at strengthening their understanding of psychological trauma and ways to address its effects.
The training demonstrated a clear positive impact on both personal and professional levels, with participants emphasizing the importance of transferring these practical skills and experiences to their communities to better support individuals affected by psychological stress and trauma.
The program concluded with the distribution of certificates in recognition of the participants’ active engagement throughout the training.
