Nafs for Empowerment, in partnership with Save the Children, concluded the implementation of a series of group psychosocial support sessions, carried out across several locations including:
Al-Jadira, Al-Jib, Al-Far’a, Beit Ijza, Beit Hanina, Beit ‘Anan, Bir Nabala, Rafat, Tammoun, ‘Aqqaba, Qalandiya, and Al-Ikhwa Club – Tubas.
The sessions targeted children, adolescents, and women, providing safe spaces that combined play, dialogue, and emotional release, with the aim of enhancing a sense of safety, building trust, and strengthening mutual support.
The activities included interactive games to build relationships and bridge trust with facilitators, expressive drama-based activities, puppet and emotions-based games, as well as open discussions that supported participants in expressing their feelings in healthy and more self-aware ways. The sessions also incorporated psychodrama techniques, offering deeper opportunities to explore emotions, share experiences, and strengthen psychological resilience in the face of ongoing stress.
We believe that psychosocial support is a fundamental step toward collective healing and the building of more cohesive and resilient communities.
