Nafs for Empowerment implemented two awareness sessions for women at the Women’s Center in the Eastern Neighborhood of Jenin, as part of the project Psychological, Social, and Legal Support for Palestinian Families in Jenin Governorate and the Northern Jordan Valley, supported by the Joint Sawasiya III Programme through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The sessions aimed to enhance participants’ awareness of mental health and to support their roles within the family and the community. The discussions focused on stress and pressure management, child protection, and promoting the safe family approach as a key entry point for building a stable and secure family environment.

The two sessions also included psychological relief activities and interactive exercises that helped women express their feelings, reduce daily stress, and strengthen psychological resilience and mutual support among participants.

Nafs for Empowerment values the efforts of its partners and supporters in empowering women, enhancing the well-being of Palestinian families, and contributing to building a more cohesive and safe community.
