Recreational Activities Supporting Children’s Mental Well-being at Tammoun Basic School
As part of its Psychosocial Support programs, Nafas for Empowerment implemented a recreational and energizing activity on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Tammoun Basic School, engaging 30 children aged 9–11 years.
The activity began with a welcoming session and team introductions, followed by a series of interactive games and Social Emotional Learning exercises, including ball rhythm activities, reaction speed games, cup balancing, goal shooting, and a collective parachute activity.
These activities aimed to provide a safe space for children to express their emotions, release stress, and strengthen key life skills such as teamwork, focus, and positive social interaction, contributing to their overall psychological and social well-being.
The children demonstrated high levels of engagement and enthusiasm throughout the activity, highlighting the effectiveness of recreational interventions as an essential component of psychosocial support programs
