Recreational Activity for 57 Children in Gaza as Part of the “Afaq Al-Taafi” Project.

In times of pain, hope becomes a collective act.

Amid the daily challenges faced by our people in Gaza, the team, as part of the “Recovery Horizons” project and in collaboration with Americares, continues its efforts to provide psychosocial support for children, believing that building resilience starts with safe spaces spaces that embrace their emotions and give them a voice amidst the chaos.

In this context, a recreational activity was carried out at Musab Bin Omair School, in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, targeting 57 children. The activity offered them a chance to release, play, and express themselves freely, away from the pressures of reality, surrounded by an atmosphere of safety and support.

We believe that every safe space, every moment of listening, and every interactive activity plants a seed of healing in these young hearts, and redraws the contours of hope within them.
