Enhancing Community Resilience and Protection Project – SUMUD
As part of the project activities in Jenin, and in partnership with Eastern Neighborhood Women’s Center, sessions were conducted for caregivers focusing on understanding stress, addressing overthinking, and strengthening relaxation and coping skills.
The sessions included interactive activities, group discussions, and practical relaxation exercises that encouraged participants to express their feelings and exchange experiences and psychosocial support. Women also discussed the impact of daily pressures on their lives and families while learning strategies to calm the mind and body and manage stress in healthier ways.
These sessions contributed to creating a safe and supportive environment for women while strengthening their resilience and psychosocial well-being.
