Nafs for Empowerment held its annual conference with broad and distinguished participation from members of the General Assembly. During the conference, a comprehensive review of the organization’s activities and achievements over the past three years was presented by the General Director, Mr. Nasser Matar, highlighting the efforts of field teams providing psychosocial support services in Gaza and the West Bank.

The Chair of the Board, Dr. Ibrahim Mousa, welcomed the participants and expressed his appreciation to all General Assembly members and field staff. He emphasized the importance of continuing to deliver high-quality psychosocial support services and commended the pivotal role of the General Director and the executive team, whose achievements were clearly reflected in the administrative and financial reports.

The conference included an in-depth and constructive discussion of the administrative and financial reports, which were enriched by the collective input of the members and subsequently approved. This was followed by the resignation of the previous Board of Directors to allow for the election of a new Board.

The newly elected Board of Directors consists of Dr. Abdulaziz Bani Ouda as Chair, Dr. Sahab Ngerat as Vice Chair, Dr. Manal Saadeh as Secretary, and Mr. Walid Marouh as Treasurer, with board membership including Dr. Ibrahim Mousa, Dr. Dirgham Abdulaziz, Mr. Mohammad Mahajneh, Mr. Eyad Laddadweh, and Ms. Roboua Radwan.

At the conclusion of the conference, Nafs for Empowerment expressed its sincere appreciation to all participants for their positive engagement and contributions.
