As part of the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Prevention Program – Psychosocial Support, Nafs for Empowerment implemented the tenth session with a group of adolescent girls at Al-Israa Kindergarten – Qalandiya on December , 2025.
The session aimed to strengthen adolescents’ engagement in community based activities. Adolescent girls, alongside volunteers and kindergarten teachers, contributed to organizing and facilitating recreational and group activities for children within the kindergarten. Simple tools such as balls, parachutes, and cones were used to create an interactive and safe environment for the children.
The adolescent girls demonstrated strong motivation and active participation, supporting the organization of activities and positively engaging with the children, which had a clear impact on the children’s behavior and overall interaction during the session.
The session concluded with hospitality distribution, in addition to coordination with the kindergarten administration to provide winter clothing to children in need in an indirect manner that ensured dignity and privacy.
This session reflects Nafs for Empowerment’s ongoing efforts to support children’s psychosocial well-being and to empower adolescent girls to take an active and responsible role within their local communities.
