As part of its ongoing efforts to support children’s mental health and enhance their social well-being, Nafas for Empowerment implemented a recreational and psychosocial activity for children at Al-Far’a Youth Club Center on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
The activity targeted children aged 5–7 years, with a total of 49 children participating. The session focused on providing a safe and supportive space that allows children to express themselves freely while fostering a sense of safety, belonging, and positive social interaction through group play and engagement.
The session began with welcoming the children and getting to know them through simple and interactive icebreaker activities that helped build trust and ease communication. This was followed by a series of movement-based games and social-emotional learning exercises designed to support emotional release, cooperation, and positive interaction in an encouraging and joyful environment.
The activity concluded with a group parachute exercise, which created moments of excitement and happiness and reinforced teamwork and shared positive experiences among the children. Light refreshments were also distributed, contributing to an atmosphere of care and emotional support.
These activities are part of Nafas for Empowerment’s broader vision to provide psychosocial support for children and to create safe environments that promote healthy emotional development and resilience through meaningful and interactive approaches.
