As part of the “Horizons of Recovery” project and in cooperation with Americares, the Nafs Empowerment Team carried out a recreational activity at Al-Jalazone Co-educational Basic School, affiliated with UNRWA. The activity targeted 160 male and female students.
The goal of the recreational activity was to provide a safe and joyful space for children, enabling them to release their emotions and interact freely in an atmosphere full of play and fun. Through carefully designed activities, they were given the opportunity to relieve stress and restore aspects of childhood that are often erased by the pressures of daily life.
Such initiatives leave an impact that goes beyond the moment, as they contribute to building a more resilient psychological foundation for children, and open before them a window towards a world that is more secure and nurturing. It is a call to continue investing in children’s mental health, because in every laughter we nurture, we build a part of a future that is more balanced and humane.
