Within the framework of the “Recovery Horizons” project and in collaboration with Americares, we implemented a recreational activity at Birzeit Girls’ Elementary School, affiliated with UNRWA, targeting 200 female students. The activity aimed to provide a safe space for joy and reassurance amidst the daily challenges of life.
Thanks to the efforts of the Nafs team, the school administration, and the counseling department, the students engaged in purposeful activities and interactive exercises designed to support mental health and enhance social skills, contributing to creating a warmer and more hopeful school environment.
These initiatives emphasize the importance of addressing the psychological dimension alongside education, serving as a starting point for deeper recovery and lasting hope in the hearts of young girls.
